TalkOn respects user privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, why it is used, and how users can request deletion of their data.

Data collected

TalkOn may collect the following information when you use the app: name, username, phone number, profile photo, synced contacts, messages, sent files, account data, transaction history, KYC information when verification is required, technical login information, and data needed to operate Talk Energy services.

How data is used

This data is used to create and secure your account, enable conversations, display contacts, process payments, verify identity when required, prevent fraud, provide user support, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Photos, videos, and files

The app may request access to photos, videos, files, camera, and microphone only so the user can choose a profile photo, send an attachment, scan a QR code, record a voice message, or complete identity verification. TalkOn does not access these contents without user action.

Data sharing

TalkOn does not sell personal data. Some data may be shared with technical providers strictly required for hosting, messaging, notifications, payments, identity verification, service operation, or when required by law.

Retention

Data is retained as long as necessary to provide the service, protect users, handle disputes, and comply with accounting, financial, anti-fraud, and legal obligations. Social data such as messages, media, contacts, and blocks can be deleted at the user's request.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your data from https://talkon.to/deleteyourinformation. After authentication, you choose the period of data to delete. Transactions, financial data, KYC data, and logs needed for security or legal obligations may be retained for the required period.

Security

TalkOn uses reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely risk-free.
